Bill Cunningham, a photographer for the NY Times and a legend in fashion street photography chronicled fashion trends and the New York society for more than five decades. This prize-winning autobiographical documentary honours his work.

The movie opens in New York on March 16, 2011.

I start this blog to keep you in touch with my current projects. The latest was the most important so far:

The Munich-based pop/rock band Kintopp assigned me to shoot the album artwork for their upcoming release.
The main idea was to capture several motifs of a pretty, young woman, creating a Lolita-like, seductive yet innocent look. For this role I chose the beautiful Tabea Mathern to model and relied on the perfect job of the professional make-up artist Aurelia Braga de Matos. The post production was and the further artwork design will be finalized by Fortuna München, an experienced and well-established design agency from Munich.

I was thrilled by the great team effort to accomplish the work in a way the band can proudly start their promotion with. The promo CD is set to be released in spring, the album follows later this summer, accompanied by numerous concerts and festival gigs around Europe. Follow the bands progress and listen to the first tracks on their website.

See a selection of the possible CD covers on Flickr. The band will take their fans choice into count to determine the final motif. More information on that will be given by time.
